Well, we have let our families know the news so we thought that we would share it with you! WE ARE PREGNANT!!! We are so excited! I think Jeff is more excited than I am! haha Not that I am not excited....I just know what comes with the territory this time so I am more worried! haha We are 14 1/2 weeks along...not to far but hopefully far enough. I have not been feeling well, so with lack of energy and between throwing up I haven't had much of a desire to blog. I will try and do better. I keep reminding Jeff that he can post too! Anyway, that is our exciting news! The baby will be due January 15, 2009. SO, start giving us ideas for baby names because Jeff is pretty hard to convince on names and I need help!

Not so exciting life...
Well Jeff keeps harassing me about updating our blog. I just don't feel like many blog worthy things have happened lately. I am sure most of you feel the same way, but looking at your blogs I wouldn't know it! So I thought I would just highlight some things that we have been doing:
* NBA Championship games...this took up quite a few of our evenings. Although, usually I don't get super excited about these things, Jeff earlier this year said he was going to be a bandwagon Celtics fan so it was fun to see that they won this year! The games were actually pretty fun to watch....for the most part. I think the funnest part it just watching Jeff enjoy it so much.
* OH! I quit my newspaper job! This actually happened when I got sick but it has been so nice to sleep through the night! Yay for eight hours of rest! While this was a happy day, I am so glad I did it. What a good learning experience. It just makes you grateful for what I have. Most of those people really needed that job, while I was just trying to stock our bank account a little more. I am SOOOO grateful I have a good husband who supports us and leaves us needing nothing. We are VERY blessed. Thanks for all your hard work Jeff!
* Watching Tiger Woods play in the the U.S. Open. Not that we always sit and watch golf, (the Masters somehow has made its way into a Sucher family tradition) but for those of you that missed it, it was pretty darn amazing. I think he must have some sort of super powerful magnet that sits in all the hole's and in his golf ball because how in the world can you be THAT good?
* We went to our friends kids first birthday party, it was so fun they had a pool party and it was a perfect day, thanks for the fun guys!
For those of you who don't have kids yet it is pretty darn amazing to watch your sweetheart turn into a daddy. Jeff has been the best Dad in the world for Morgan. Some of the things that he does I never would have imagined! :) Morgan loves him so much, every time he comes home she looks at me then starts yelling, DADDY DADDY!!! Then she runs to the door to Jeff. It is SO cute! She is definitely his baby. She loves watching baseball...basketball...as long as dad is there. She even likes all the food the Jeff likes from condiments to Jambalaya (this was tested out tonight and she LOVED IT!) It is pretty amazing how similar they are. :) Happy be-lated Fathers Day Jeff! We love you!!!

Sick
Well, I haven't blogged for a long time. I was sick for the last THREE weeks! It was the worst cold I have ever had. The first week I had a sinus cold. I don't think that I have ever had one before, it was MISERABLE! Knock on wood I don't EVER EVER get one of those again, that was about Monday thru Saturday. By Sunday I was feeling quite a bit better, then came Monday. I woke up Monday and had a bad sore throat but I just kept telling myself it was just drainage from my cold. Finally but Wednesday I broke down and went to the doctor. By this point I could barely eat and I had NO energy. The doctor looked at my throat and said, "OH! That is DEFINITELY strep. That is a classic case of strep, but probably the worst I have ever seen!" At this point I am just so excited to get my antibiotics and get over it. Then the test results came back negative! He was shocked and I was disappointed. I ended up having some work done to check for mono and tonsillitis. These tests take up to a week to get the results! In the mean time they give me this mouth wash that is supposed to numb your throat, it is called rocky mountain mouthwash....what a joke. It tasted like gargling robutussin, awful! This was all before Memorial Day Weekend, so I knew I wouldn't hear back for a while.
Jeff, being the great husband he is, went and got me some magic medicine! haha, Ok, well, it might not be magic but it sure did work wonders. It is Tylenol Severe Congestion, you have to get it through your pharmacist. Anyway, to make a long story that really isn't that interesting short. The medicine worked wonders, I finally heard from the doctors office and they said it wasn't mono OR tonsillitis and in fact I have apparently already had mono! haha Who knew? All in all it has been a pretty awful couple of weeks. I being sick. I am happy to report that my leftover cold is finally leaving a couple of rolls of toilet paper later! :)
During it all we did get to see Jeff's cute sister Jen and her family! This was exciting since we haven't seen all of them since I think Christmas '06. They stopped by on their way to and from Utah. Thanks for visiting guys!!!
Well, sorry for the long random post full of complaints, but that is where I have been and hopefully it doesn't happen again! :)

Digital Scrapbooking!
Yay for digital scrapbooking! This is my first attempt and I was so proud of myself...not that it is the best thing in the world but that I actually figured it out! It took me....a while...but next time it won't be so hard! Yay! Any advice, ideas, words of wisdom from you digital scrapbookers out there would be wonderful! (Thanks to those who have already helped!)
I thought this would be better for the than regular scrapbooking because that just seems to stress me out...odd, I know but if I make a mistake the digital way I know I can fix it! :)

Go Cards!
So last Monday for FHE we went to the Rockies game because they were playing the Cardinals. I was a little worried to see how Morgan would do because she was pretty bad all day long. (We just took her to the doctor this Monday and found out she has an ear infection so I guess it was justified) Anyway, first off you can take food into their stadium which is AWESOME! So we hauled in our goods and got ready to watch to game. Jeff got us great seats, they were second row! We got there early and watched the players warm up and sign balls. Jeff saw someone semi-famous, he saw one of the sports anchors from The Mountain. So that was exciting. The game finally started and Morgan was LOVING it! She was loving everything! She sat patiently on my lap for the first four innings and just people watched. She even did well after that she was just a little more squirmy. It was so fun, and such perfect weather. I am excited to go to a FEW more games this summer! :)
GO CARDS!

Happy Mother's Day!
I was going to write this post a couple of days ago but I kept trying to get my thoughts in order. I mean how to you really put into words how you feel about your Mother? I know everyone thinks they have the best mom, but I know I do! In fact, I have TWO! My mom and my mother-in-law. :) The two of them are so differnt but somehow are both AMAZING!
My mom is the nicest, most patient, most giving person I know! I have always gotten along with my mom, in fact I can only remember her being mad at me once growing up and I deserved it! But, I never had that teen problem with my mom. She always knew everything and she still does! I have always appreciated my mom, but until I had Morgan I never realized how much she did for me and how much she loved me. I am so grateful for such a wonderful example in my life. If I can only be 10% of what she is I will be one lucky girl! Love you Mom!!!
My Mother-in-Law, Mom Lois, is one hard working cookie! Not just in the working world but in anything she does. She wants to make every moment special. I think she see just how short this life is and wants to make is as special and memorable as possible. She is a spiritual giant. She knows doctrine in and out and I love love love to sit and listen to her and learn something new every time! Love you Momma Sucher!
I think the most important thing that both of my Moms have accomplished is that they have both taught their children the importance of the gospel. Not just by teaching them the doctrine but living it in their lives everyday. I am so grateful for both of these beautiful women in my life and I hope I can live up to their examples. If I can my kids are going to be pretty lucky! :)
Now to Grandmas! (I am sorry, anyone who is bored can just stop reading, but I can't skip my Grandmas!)
My Mom's mom passed away when I was a freshman in high school. I was one of 62 grandkids! Because of SOO many grandkids I didn't get to know her as well as I wish I did but I remember that whenever she called she was always so sweet and she always knew what was going on in my life. Pretty impressive for being one of 62 grandkids!
My Dad's mom has always lived far away and we were only able to see her a few times a year. I just loved her crazy stories of her riding the bus, when she was a younger girl and her dating years! She has some great stories! She loves to have a good time wherever she goes!
Now, since I got married, I inherited some of the best Grandma's you can ask for that aren't blood related! Grandma Wirig and Grandma Sucher and taken me in like I was really one of their own grandkids. Not having my real grandma's close it was so fun for me to see Grandma's in motion! I LOVED every minute!
Grandma Wirig is so domestic! I mean that in a good way, this is how I want to be one day! She knows how to do everything! Cooking, sewing, crocheting...everything! The best part it she is willing to teach you anytime you want! I just wish I still lived in Utah to more take advantage of it!
Grandma Sucher is probably the most thoughtful person I have ever met! I don't know if I have ever had someone besides Grandma Sucher who has called me and said can I come babysit? I remember when Morgan was first born...I was a little overwhelmed and I was finishing school she called and asked if she could come and help me for a week! Just knowing someone was thinking about me and willing to sacrifice a whole week to come help me was one of the nicest things someone has done for me.
I think I am one of the luckiest people in the world when is comes to my Moms. I have been so blessed with a wonderful example of womanhood in my life. I wish everyone was so lucky! I could go on about all the other special women in my life but I will spare you and save it for another day! But thanks to all the special women in my life, sisters, sisters-in-law, friends, co-workers....I could go on but Heavenly Father has blessed me with these special ladies and I hope that my kids will be as lucky!
