Here she is

BEFORE:

AFTER:

(Isn't my model cute! Yes, she is still obsessed with wearing dresses, silly girl!)

I am pretty happy with how it has turned out, I am going to try to make the legs a little less BRIGHT white and add some upholstery tacks to the corners to hide some of the staples. But, she is good enough for now.

Lots of pictures!

The girls first bath together.

I bought this for $3 at a garage sale thinking I could cover it pretty easily, it was a little more difficult than I expected but it will do.

Next time maybe I will look for a pattern! Oh well it still serves its purpose.

Master Chef Jeff! I think we got these BBQ tools from my mom...I think, but I love it when Jeff puts them on, it cracks me up everytime!

We saw some ribs on sale at Walmart, neither of us have every bbq'd ribs before so we didn't know how much meat was on them so we gave it a shot.

mmmm, tasty! They were actually REALLY REALLY good (good job hun!) but not a lot of meat on them...like, at all! haha, if anyone has any suggestions for buying ribs that would be great because honestly what little meat was on there was GREAT!

My sister in law is letting us use their excersaucer for Whitney and this is how she spent the first week or so using it, but now she is starting to play more and more with the toys. She is so fun to watch.

I took Morgan and Malorie (my friends little girl who I watched) to the Littleton historic farm for our playgroup and they had a lot of fun. We may just have to go back! :)

The girls and the new baby calf.

Although I am not watching Malorie anymore Morgan asks for her EVERYDAY, MULTIPLE times a day. (Marianne, I think we need a play date)

Morgans friend Ellie.

So cute I just couldn't resist!

I made this nursing cover the other night it was pretty easy to make, I was so excited about it, but then I decided I needed a more girly one so I passed it on to another mom, now I just need to find the perfect fabric!

Whitney's pigtails! It makes me so sad that I can give her pigtails but so fun too! It just makes her seem so much older than she really is!!!

Here is my happy four month old!

This is what she spends a lot of her time doing, lately.

SO, I found this gem the other night walking home. I was so excited because I saw a great tutorial on how to make it into an ottoman! Here is the web-site http://littlegreennotebook.blogspot.com/2009/03/make-ottoman-from-coffee-table.html
Anyway, I am not so sure about all that detail work, but we will see how it goes!

Four Month Check-up

I can't believe Whitney is already four months! (Actually she is about four and a half months right now but I am slow at blogging!) It kills me to see her getting so big so fast!!! Here are her four month stats:

Height: 24.75 inches/64th%
Weight: 12 lbs 2 oz/15th%
Head: 16 in/34%

She rolled over about three weeks ago, she did it over and over and over again....but she hasn't done it since that night! Silly girl. We are trying to give her rice cereal but she does not like it! So I am just going to keep trying but if any of you have tips it would be much appreciated!

Her sleeping is so random. Some nights it she wakes up once a night and others are ....MUCH more! I don't know what to do, so I think in a month or so I may just let her cry it out.

She is such a happy baby, I love it! She is so smiley and laughs all the time. She LOVES to watch Morgan, and Morgan is starting to get more and more attached. I love it, that is the one thing about them getting bigger. It makes me excited for them to be friends and be able to play together.

Blessing dress

My sister is having baby girl number three in seven weeks, yay! (and I became an Aunt again this week too!) Anyway, SO I decided to make her a blessing dress and I was really happy with how it turned out for the most part, there are a few things that I messed up but hopefully they aren't too noticeable!

Morganism's

It's that time of year again for baseball! WAHOO! right. :) No really I enjoy it a lot more than I did when we were first married, but now it is harder with two kids to take to the game!!!

We went to our first Rockies game of the season they were playing the Marlins. Our friends brother pitches for the Marlins so we went to see our friend and his brother play this last weekend. It was really pretty fun. The girls did great, Whitney slept the ENTIRE time and Morgan loves it, but mommy had a terrible headache! ANYWAY, while we were there Morgan said so pretty funny things:

There was an older man sitting a few rows behind us and he was wearing a hat that was in the shape of the Rocky Mountain's, anyway, so Morgan looks at him then she looks at me and says, "Mommy! I found a King!!!" It was really funny, I wish I could find a picture but I haven't had any luck.

Then later in the game the crowd was booing and Morgan just looks at me and says, "What was that?!" I said, "I don't know what was it?" She says, "A COW!" haha, I love the mind of a two year old....most days!

This week in pictures

So this last week we had a random snow storm and I thought I better let Morgan play in the snow before it melts! We haven't played in the snow....at ALL since we have been here and I was feeling like a really bad mom! Anyway, we bundled her up and here she is:

This is the snowman we built, we meaning me, Morgan was much more interested in eating snowballs (is this normal?)....note to self, buy gloves, making snowmen with bare hands...not so smart. We used limes for the eyes, an old carrot for the nose, and fruit loops for the mouth. :)

Jeff's cousin makes these BEAUTIFUL cookies ( I hope it is ok that I took your picture Diane!) So she sent me the recipe and told me how to do it, and well.....I think I need your help Diane! haha

Maybe if you squint your eyes and shake your head they will look a little better! Oh well though most of them got eaten and no one complained.

I went to the cannery this week with all three girls (mine and one I babysit). I had called them in advance and they said that I could just buy cans there, but when I was there they were quite a bit more than if I just canned them myself. SO, my short trip turned into a lot longer trip! ha, but it was pretty fun and the girls did great for the most part. I want to go again but next time I will DEFINITELY be more prepared. (Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on a wheat grinder? I will most likely go with the one the church recommends but I am open. If I do go with that one I might be able to get a group discount if more people want to order with me, let me know) Anyway, here are the fruits of our labors, I know it isn't a lot but baby steps right?

(I know the stickers aren't straight, the OCD part of me is going crazy but that is how the girls helped me out so I am trying to handle it)

These next two pictures of Whitney are in an outfit that her Great-grand Parents brought back from China, the third picture is of Morgan in the same dress. I love that they both have the same stunned look on their face:
