Bear Tooths

This July we up to Cooke City Montana. To go camping in the Bear Tooth mountains. My Dad and brothers have been going there for years and this was the first year Jeff and I were able to go, and it was BEAUTIFUL!

We drove through Utah up to Idaho and stayed a day or two and then drove up through Yellowstone. In Yellowstone they gave us a paper with all the animals you could see and Morgan was obsessed. I think I read that paper to her 100 times. We saw almost all of the animals too. It was so fun. It was the first time I have ever seen a bear in Yellowstone. We saw two Grizzly's and a Black bear.

We had lots of fun and made lots of great memories. We did lots of eating, four wheeling, and playing. To bad we forgot to take more pictures! I don't know what we were thinking!!!

Getting Ready for her long ride.

Excited

The group

We went through a bit a snow and some of us had troubles making it through.

Morgan rode with Jeff all the way up the mountain and did a great job.  It was about a two hour ride, I was impressed that she enjoyed it that long.

The view

Hey good lookin'

One more, because I can.  :)

Somehow I was the only one who ended up coverd in mud.  This picture doesn't do it justice.  I had it all over my face and arms.  Everywhere, but it was fun!

The whole group except Whitney (she was sleeping in the car).

The views were incredible.  These pictures don't capture it.

On our way back from a drive we saw these Mountain Goats so we thought we would go see them up close.

Cute little baby goat.

It was so pretty but cold and hard to walk to those goats.  I was surprised that they didn't seem to car that twenty or so people were so close to them.

We also stopped at Old Faithful.  I am always surprised by how many people come to watch this.  I guess growing up so close to Yellowstone it just wasn't as exciting.  :)

Waiting for Old Faithful.  (Yes, I know their hair is a mess.  Don't judge, it was a ten day camping trip and it was windy! :) )

There she goes!

Morgan at the Paint Pots
It was a fun trip, I am glad we were able to go and spend time with my family.  I don't know if it will be a yearly tradition for us but I think we will definitely go back!
