Halloween

I enjoy Halloween more now that I have kids than I EVER have. It is so fun to watch Morgan pretend and watch her get so excited. She was Cinderella this year and for months before I swear any one she talked to she would tell them that she was going to be Cinderella and they she would ask them what they were going to be and if they didn't know she would give them suggestions. Such a funny girl.

Morgan got this kit from her Grandma for her birthday, she had a great time decorating her spooky crispy house.

Morgan pretending to be Princess Cinderella. I made her dress and it is a little big but I guess that gives her room to grow right?

She walked around all night at our ward trunk or treat in these shoes...she is definitely a girl!

Whitney on the other hand wasn't very excited to dress up this year!

Jeff and I went to a Halloween party this year and well, I got so excited putting everyone else's costume together that I forgot about mine. So I ran to Old Navy and grabbed this sweater. (all Halloween stuff was $2!)

Jeff's costume was great, although when we were walking around people we didn't know probably thought he wasn't dressed up! In fact when we went to pick up our girls from my brothers house my little nephew asked my Sister in law who "he" was! :)

A few days before Halloween we got dumped on! I think we got almost two feet of snow! This was just the first day of the snow! (a week later though most of it was melted! I LOVE Colorado snow storms!)

Whitney didn't love playing in the snow but whenever we did go outside she would stick her tongue out to try and catch some snowflakes.

Morgan LOVED playing in the snow (despite the look on her face) and making snow angels. It was a fun week!

Wow, I didn't realize Jeff had a costume on til you mentioned it in your post. I just thought he had gone off the deep end or something! :) Haha, he's a natural!

Snow...how I miss that fluffy white stuff. Washington doesn't get much. At least not where we are.

Great costumes! I would never have guessed that you made Morgan's - it looks great! She fit the part well too with her blonde hair. :o)

You made Morgan's dress?!?!?! You are amazing! I really wish I could sew as well as you, it truly is such a great talent you have. You will be so glad for it while your kids are growing. I know my whole cookies and cakes thing has really come in handy for my kids (It has made their childhood a little more fun). I'm so sad we don't live closer!
