This week in pictures

So this last week we had a random snow storm and I thought I better let Morgan play in the snow before it melts! We haven't played in the snow....at ALL since we have been here and I was feeling like a really bad mom! Anyway, we bundled her up and here she is:

This is the snowman we built, we meaning me, Morgan was much more interested in eating snowballs (is this normal?)....note to self, buy gloves, making snowmen with bare hands...not so smart. We used limes for the eyes, an old carrot for the nose, and fruit loops for the mouth. :)

Jeff's cousin makes these BEAUTIFUL cookies ( I hope it is ok that I took your picture Diane!) So she sent me the recipe and told me how to do it, and well.....I think I need your help Diane! haha

Maybe if you squint your eyes and shake your head they will look a little better! Oh well though most of them got eaten and no one complained.

I went to the cannery this week with all three girls (mine and one I babysit). I had called them in advance and they said that I could just buy cans there, but when I was there they were quite a bit more than if I just canned them myself. SO, my short trip turned into a lot longer trip! ha, but it was pretty fun and the girls did great for the most part. I want to go again but next time I will DEFINITELY be more prepared. (Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on a wheat grinder? I will most likely go with the one the church recommends but I am open. If I do go with that one I might be able to get a group discount if more people want to order with me, let me know) Anyway, here are the fruits of our labors, I know it isn't a lot but baby steps right?

(I know the stickers aren't straight, the OCD part of me is going crazy but that is how the girls helped me out so I am trying to handle it)

These next two pictures of Whitney are in an outfit that her Great-grand Parents brought back from China, the third picture is of Morgan in the same dress. I love that they both have the same stunned look on their face:

I thought that they both looked like Jeff, but they both look so different! Both so beautiful! And I loved the stickers! That is so funny.

Whitney is so beautiful Kim. She is so cute in that dress and so was Morgan. They do look alot different as babies though. I think they look alot alike right now though!

The cute pictures of your little girl dressed up makes me want to have a girl!! She is beautiful!!!
The cookies look tempting. A friend did lady bugs recently with cupcakes. It makes me want to bake.

I'm glad we're not the only ones building snowmen in April. :) And your little girls are dolls, maybe someday I'll get to do the hairbow thing too! Btw, can you come cook for me, I'm always hearing about these yummy things you make!

You've been busy! Your cookies look great! I could totally tell they were supposed to be soccer balls (just kidding). As long as they taste yummy, that's what is important, right? You have such cute girls! I'm impressed you took them canning with you!!

I think Whitney may look more like you than Jeff. She is a cutie.
