What Were You Doing?

What were all of you doing five years ago today? I will tell you what I was doing....it was my last day as a single woman! WAHOO!!! I can barely believe that we will be married for five years tomorrow! It is insane! How come when you were little five years seemed like an eternity and today it just feels like yesterday? Here are some things that have happened to us in the last five years (in no particular order):

- Two cruises...same cruise

- Numerous trips to Vegas and San Diego

- One trip to Phoenix

- One trip to NYC

- One trip to Florida

- Two trips to Alaska

- Salmon and Halibut fishing in Alaska (something I have ALWAYS wanted to do...AMAZING)

p.s. The biggest one is mine! :) At least that is what I claim!!!

- A few trips to St. Louis

- Lots of trips back to Idaho

- A fun trip to Yellowstone with friends who hadn't ever been

- A botched trip to The Price is Right

- Lots and lots of sporting events

- Moved 8 times

- One apartment fire :) (Not my fault! haha that is a whole different post!)

- Five different jobs between the two of us

- Four cars

- I finished my B.S.

- Jeff started (and is still working on) his MBA

- Bought one business

- Two beautiful kids

- 1 House (by the way, if anyone needs a place to rent or is looking to buy we just found out this week our renters are leaving their contract so it is up for grabs: 4 Bed, 3.5 Baths, living room, family room, laundry, and office)

- I think 9 softball teams, two we played on together

- Disneyland, Disneyworld, Sea World, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farms and MGM Grand

I think this was at Universal

- Many packages of mint Oreos

- One happy wife :)

Sheesh, after looking at this list it looks like all we have done is played! We have been very lucky and maybe when all the kids are out of the house we will be able to go on a vacation again! :) haha!!! I am sure there are many other things that have happened! :) All in all I am one happy camper!!! Jeff and the girls are the best things that have ever happened to me. I couldn't have a more perfect match for a spouse. I feel like we equal each other out so well. We both 'share a leg of the pants'. :) I LOVE him so much and am grateful for all the hard work he does for our family!

I was looking for the CD of my engagement photos so I could post a few but I have no idea where it went! (Noelle if you still have them can I get another copy?) Anyway so I thought I would post our invitation
(yes, I know the bottom is cut off. I don't know why I scanned if 5 time and all different ways but at least you get the idea) :)

Yep, Jeff married up alright! He is one lucky man. But I know he knows that. Danny and I feel so lucky to have been a part of both of your lives and to share in some of the events you mentioned. Congrats you two crazy kids. I hope your day-o-love is filled with oreos and a perfect balance of sports and chick flicks (which interpreted means sports higlights and 6 hours of pride and prejudice:)

Congrats on 5 years! That is awesome. I love all of the fun things you've been able to do. Marriage is about having fun so don't feel bad about that. If we had some more money we'd be doing the same...well, traveling that is. We're definitely having fun even if we can't travel as much as we'd like right now. I'm sure that someday all of this school will pay off. :)
